Frequently asked questions

Common questions

Quick answers about using FishMap and protecting your information.

Why does FishMap request my location?

Location access allows FishMap to display your position on the map, show relevant local conditions and help you save fishing spots. You can deny access or change the permission later in your device settings.

Are my exact fishing spots visible to other users?

No. Exact coordinates for private fishing spots are not displayed publicly. Depending on your privacy selection, FishMap may show only an approximate region.

How accurate are weather and fishing conditions?

Environmental information may come from external data providers and can vary by location, availability and update frequency. Always verify local weather, navigation and safety conditions before fishing.

I cannot access my account. What should I do?

Use the password recovery option on the login screen. If you still cannot access your account, email support@hubblueapps.com using the address associated with your FishMap account.

How do I report inappropriate content or a user?

Use the report option available on supported profiles, catches or comments. You may also contact our support team and include the username, content description and relevant screenshots.

How can I request account deletion?

Open FishMap settings and select the account deletion option. If you cannot access the app, contact support@hubblueapps.com using your registered email address.

Can FishMap be used offline?

Some previously loaded information may remain available without a connection. Features that depend on live weather, map data, synchronization or online content require internet access.

Which information should I include in a support request?

Include your device model, operating system version, FishMap version, the screen where the issue occurred and the steps that caused the problem. Do not send passwords or private fishing coordinates.
